End-To-End Additive Manufacturing: We’ve Joined Forces With fi
16th Nov 2022
Ever since the inception of Complete 3D, we’ve been dedicated to providing only the very best for our clients. With the world of 3D printing and additive manufacturing being in such a constant state of flux, our mission has always been to keep our finger on the pulse in terms of industry shifts, new ways of thinking and better ways of doing things in this space.
So when we had the opportunity to hand over the reins to fi innovations founders Gareth and Melissa Dykes, it just made sense. The pair took over the Invercargill-based, family-run fibreglass, composites and flooring business about 20 years ago with one goal — to strive to be world-class through innovative thinking and manufacturing excellence.
That mission led to the introduction of their additive manufacturing brand fi additive earlier this year, and what started as a company that specialised in anything from industrial, residential and commercial resin flooring to boat building services, had since grown to incorporate a whole new level of innovation.
fi additive has become an award-winning business for its success in the additive manufacturing sphere. From designing and manufacturing parts for the likes of the aerospace, medical, transport and marine industries, their systems and superior end-use parts have garnered the attention of many. Now that fi and Complete 3D will be sharing services, we’re able to offer our clients the full package.
Complete 3D is not just a 3D printing and additive manufacturing retailer, we offer industry-leading consulting expertise to help transform our clients’ workflows through training, warranty support and general customer care. We’re also the only business of our kind offering technical support for additive manufacturing systems in New Zealand. Pair that with the part production capabilities of fi, we’ve got a whole lot to offer.
Former Complete 3D staff have been kept on board, and with the combining of the two businesses, our intention is to breathe new life into what already exists. The Dykes’ business portfolio has received widespread recognition for its success after being dubbed finalists and winners at various awards, including at the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards, the Best Awards and the Southland Business Excellence Awards where their team most recently brought home the 2021 Supreme Award.
Keep an eye out for what’s next, you won’t want to miss it.
